This year is the 12th Annual “Albuquirky” Little Houses Silent Auction Fundraiser for Off Center Arts. Each year, local artists are given little wooden houses to turn into one-of-a-kind works of art, which are then auctioned off to raise funds for a worthy cause. I am always looking for new materials to incorporate into my art. I was delighted to find I could use Tyvek for origami and incorporate it into outdoor art. My weather-resistant origami crane chains are a big hit at art shows, especially in the spring when people are beginning to spruce up their outdoor living areas.
